Funny Ha Ha brings together four artists who are unabashed fans of comic culture. As artists they have chosen to probe the obsessions of their youth that they are just too stubborn and eternally adolescent to outgrow. Together they have thrown up a bizarro landscape blending biomorphic characters and speech sampled from contemporary art mags and comic book zines. Creating an unruly yet playful terrain where perhaps all art could be read as thwarted comics anyway?
