In the face of the technological systems which dominate and govern our daily lives, this exhibition will attempt to glorify the anomalous and irrational by constructing machines governed by the mental laws of subjectivity where mechanical operations are symbolically made to stand in for the operations of the mind. If it is possible to see a computer as a replica of the human mind and a computer program like photoshop as the systematic digital encoding of a logical series of human operations then we aim to produce the exact opposite, machines which replicate the irrational workings of the mind and human behavior which consequently produce models of technology which are disarmingly fallible and human.
